As a little girl, I was always itching to create whether painting seascapes or sewing my own clothes. It felt instinctual, as if I was born to make. That early curiosity stayed with me throughout my school years and ultimately led me to Iowa State University, where I am earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Integrated Studio Arts with a minor in Entrepreneurship.

As an artist, I find deep joy in working with my hands. Acrylic and watercolor are my primary mediums; I feel most alive with a paintbrush in hand. As my style has evolved over the years, I have drawn inspiration from Impressionism, particularly its abstraction of composition and expressive, descriptive brushwork.

My creative process is intuitive and ever-evolving, guided by curiosity, a love for beauty, and a desire to explore new techniques and materials. My work is characterized by vibrant colors and organic forms, often inspired by nature, prayer, and the quiet beauty of everyday life. Through my art, I aim to evoke light-hearted joy and a sense of peace, a celebration of the Lord’s creation and the wonder and awe it holds.
